If you hire a care-aide directly to save money, the care-aide is really an employee. That exposes you to all expenses, liabilities, and risks of having an employee. Care-Aides who work the hours you specify, follow your directions, and use your home and equipment (e.g., dishwasher, washer & dryer, vacuum, kitchen and household equipment) are legally your employees. Read below to understand the risks involved in hiring a care-aide privately vs. agency.
Consider Us a Matchmaker

Our goal is to build long-term relationships, ensuring consistency and quality of care for your loved one. If we do not succeed in a match for whatever reason, we will happily seek a replacement. We won’t stop working for you because we want you to enjoy the best experience of home care you possibly can. Don’t let name-brands fool you; a person is a person and we strive on providing a happy, successful and fruitful match the first time, every time.
Home Care Assistants & Certified Care-Aides
Our home care assistants and certified care-aides support our clients in their goal of maintaining an independent and active lifestyle wherever they live: at home, in an aging-support community or in short-term or long-term care. Often clients are able to manage very well if they are provided the right support. To that end, we help our clients with a wide variety of everyday activities so they can continue to live their life to its fullest. By working together with our clients and their family, we can develop an individually customized home care plan filled with routines and preferences for meals, eating times, hobbies, rest time and administrating medication just to name a few. Our staff is trained in Food Safe, First Aid and CPR, Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Many of our staff participate in our continued education programs.
Live-In care is defined to be a home care support situation where the care-aide actually lives with the client for one or more 24 hour periods per week. The live-in care-aide lives, sleeps and eats at the client residence for one or more consecutive 24 hour periods. During this live-in care time, the care-aide will not go home but remain with the client at all times, except for the mandatory three-hour break they are entitled to that is in accordance with Employment Standards Act. Our live-in care services make it possible for aging individuals to remain in the comfort of their own home while receiving the attention and care they need. With 24/7 monitoring and personalized care plans, our dedicated live-in care-aides are happy to maximize safety and improve the quality of life for their clients. Your live-in care-aide may provide companionship, personal care, home support, meal preparation, and more presenting an affordable alternative solution to residential care or assisted living.
Registered Nurses & Licensed Practical Nurses
Sometimes a family or professional care-aide just cannot meet the increasing medical needs of a loved one. Our on-staff registered nurses provide the level of care a loved one needs to stay safe in the comfort of their own home rather than in assisted living care or the hospital. This type of care provides one-on-one home health care to an individual with treatment and recovery being the primary focus. Our registered nurses provide a high level of care while working in tandem with the care-aide who is providing companionship, personal care or home support. Registered nurses are available to assist our clients 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We can arrange regularly scheduled visits or on an as-needed basis. We work closely with the client’s doctors, physicians and family to provide extended support.
